Q&A

Intimate Bleaching

Q: What is Intimate Bleaching ?

A: Anal bleaching is the more common of the two bleaching procedures, mainly due to longer period of time it has been a service. Anal bleaching refers to a treatment that lightens the skin around the anus, which is a medical procedure done mainly for cosmetic purposes, in order to lighten the color of the skin around the anal region. For vaginal bleaching, the procedure is a bit different, but the end goal is technically the same - to lighten the skin outside the vagina or the vulva (including the labia and mons).

Q: Why is the Procedure Done ?

A: Both of these procedures are typically done as an extra boost of confidence, self-esteem or even just to see what it’s like

Q: Will anal bleaching cause me any pain?

A:  absolutely no pain

Q: How long do the results last ?

A: Since this process is not permanent, take the time to learn the tone you are likely going to be happy with. The results can then last up to 6 months, though depending upon your skin tone and other factors, you may need to come in more regularly if you'd like to maintain the results.

Q: How many bleaching sessions will I need ?

A: Everyone’s skin is a bit different so there is no hard and fast rule for how long it will take to lighten your skin. An average of 3-4 sessions is what we recommend to get noticeable changes. Again, as everyone is different and reacts differently to the same treatment, the need for more sessions is possible.

Q&A

Vaginal Tightening/ Rejuvenations

Q: Is the procedure painful?

A: No! During the procedure, most patients experience minimal discomfort and only a slight pressure in the treatment area.

Q: How many sessions Do I need?

A: While some women experience noticeable relief from symptoms right away, others need one or more additional treatments a few weeks apart to receive the full benefit.

Q: What are the benefits?

  • Tightening the vagina

  • Improve symptoms of vaginal atrophy (when the vaginal walls become thinner, drier and inflamed)

  • Reduce vaginal dryness

  • Treat stress urinary incontinence (SUI)

  • Improve lubrication

  • Reduce the number of recurrent infections such as bacterial vaginosis (BV)

  • Improve vaginal laxity

  • Increase sexual pleasure

Q: How does the procedure work ?

A: The non-invasive, non-ablative procedure uses controlled laser heating to stimulate the production of collagen and a new blood supply to improve thickness and elasticity to the vaginal wall

Q: Can I have sexual intercourse after my vaginal procedure ?

A: While it is recommended that patients take a week to fully recover, many patients choose to return to their normal sex lives immediately after treatment with little complications. The area of treatment may feel sensitive during sexual intercourse, but this is to be expected. If you are experiencing pain or discomfort during sex past a week after your procedure, be sure to contact your primary care physician?

Q&A

Full Body Waxing

Q: Can I be Intimate after my Service ?

A: We do not recommend being intimate with a partner for the first 24 hours after any services done in an intimate area. The reason we recommend abstaining, if possible, is because sweat and friction, within the first 24 hours after service, can both increase your chances of infections, developing ingrown hairs and blemishes

Q: Is there a age limit for waxing ?

A: Though we are happy to provide waxing services to clients of any age, we require written consent from a parent or guardian for clients under the age of 18. If you are a minor looking to get waxed, please have your parent or guardian accompany you to your first appointment.

Q: Can I get a wax if I'm pregnant ?

A: Yes, ma’am, you can! We always recommend that you consult your doctor before your first wax. You may also experience heightened sensitivity during your service.

Q: How long after a c-section do I have to wait to get a wax?

A: We always recommend all our new moms wait a minimum of 6 weeks. Your body needs time to heal in the area of your incision. Pulling at the skin with wax to rip out those menacing hairs could impede your healing time. Most doctors advise that you wait it out until you either don’t have stitches, there are no scabs, and/or  you’re not swollen. Always consult with your health care physician first.

Q: Can I get a wax during my cycle?

Absolutely! Mother nature doesn’t have to get in the way of you and smooth, hair-free skin. We do ask that you wear a tampon or diva cup during your service and please be aware that you may be a little more sensitive than usual.

Q: How often should I get a Brazilian wax ?

A: For the majority of our services, we recommend coming every 4-6 weeks for the best results.

Q: How long does my hair need to be?

A: We ask that clients have at least 2 weeks of hair growth. Hairs should be about 1/4 inch in length, approximately the length of a grain of rice.

Q: Should I take Tylenol before my wax?

A: We typically recommend all our first time waxers take an over-the-counter pain medicine such as Tylenol or Advil thirty minutes before your waxing appointment. This should help quite a bit with the pain. You'll be excited to know that waxing becomes less painful the more regularly you do it.
